Recently, on May 23, 2025 to be exact, I experienced something amazing.
I decided to make my "green" smoothie that I normally eat for lunch with beetroot and beet greens instead of my normal greens.
And boy was I in for the surprise of my life. It had been a long while since I made such a smoothie and I'd forgotten just how incredible of an energy explosion you feel when consuming it.
NOTE: Make sure you get organic beets because (at least in the USA) most non-organic beets are GMO.
So when I started slowly drinking it, I was shocked at how good I felt. It was like an energy explosion in my mouth and soon after that I felt that sparkling energy penetrating into every cell in my body.
I felt like I was drinking pure liquid energy and joy. Yeah, it gives you a real happy feeling when you consume it.
There was something magical in that smoothie that I have never experienced in any other kind of raw smoothie. For sure it's the mighty healing and energizing power of the raw beets and beet greens that I used.
The more I consume, research and intuitively decipher about beets, the more I realize that they are a magic food that I plan to be eating a lot more of. There is so much more to the importance of raw organic beets in your daily diet than I have told you so far that I have only scratched the tip of the iceberg.
I'll have more to say about the mystical power of beets in a future post based on what DS (My Divine Spirit Guide) told me about them in 2020. When he first told me this I was shocked about what he said. It was an unusual revelation that I did not expect. You’re not going to want to miss that top secret information.
Below I'm going to give you two slightly different recipes I used on back to back days.
The Energy Exploder Smoothie Recipe from May 23, 2025.
This is the first time recently that I made a beet based smoothie. I have made these in the past and also then I was able to feel the amazing amount of energy that the raw beets released into the smoothie. It is truly an explosion of energy compared to any other green smoothie I ever made.
Actually, this is going to be a red smoothie not a green smoothie. LOL
All the weights below are in grams.
Water - 60 g
Bananas - 432.1 g (About 4 large bananas)
Beet Greens (including the stems) - 61 g
Beet root - 131 g
Blueberries frozen - 150 g
Blueberries wild frozen - 60 g
Blending Instructions:
Simply add the ingredients in the order shown to a high powered blender like a Vitamix or the new Backspin Vacuum Blender by Tribest. (Though you can add the water at any time.) Then blend until liquified.
But always blend for as little time possible. The more you blend it and the faster you blend it the more oxidized it becomes. Or better yet use a vacuum blender.
Oxidation of the ingredients does at least two major negative things.
1. It damages a lot of the nutrients.
2. It dramatically reduces the flavor
So the less you can oxidize your smoothie the more OXYGEN POWER you will feel when you eat it. I.E. don’t do what they do at a smoothie bar and blast the blender at full speed for a minute or two. That will completely ruin the flavor and impact of this smoothie.
I generally run my Vitamix for about 15 to 25 seconds at the speed of 7 out of 10. Though I gradually increase the speed until it reaches 7. It’s not 7 for the whole time. I blend much more slowly at first until I’ve got things broken down to finer chunks.
Just use your common sense when it comes to what blending speed to use. The key is to minimize the blending time and to minimize the high speed. Though if you want to liquify it quickly then a higher speed for a brief period of time is key.
Please realize that you don't have to follow this recipe exactly. I simply used one beet and it's beet tops or the greens including the red stems of the beet greens. Beets and their greens tend to vary greatly in their size so you may add more or less.
The beets I used this time were only about medium sized. If I were using huge beets I'd probably only use half of the beet. But I will most definitely experiment with adding the whole large beet to this smoothie recipe in the future.

Below I'll share with you my recipe from the next day to show you the variation in the ingredient quantities. This day also gave me an incredibly potent feeling of energy as I was consuming the smoothie. I suspect this may have to do with the nitric oxide (NO) that beets create in the body by converting the nitrates in beets into nitric oxide.
The Energy Exploder Smoothie Recipe from May 24, 2025
All the weights below are in grams.
Water - 60 g
Bananas - 374 g
Beet Greens (including the stems) - 49 g
Beet root - 133 g
Blueberries frozen - 158 g
Blueberries wild frozen - 60 g
Zucchini Skin - 40 g
I only added in the zucchini skin because I had it left over from the night before. But it certainly did not hurt the flavor of the smoothie.
Use the same blending instructions as in the first recipe.

I highly recommend you try out the Energy Explosion Smoothy because it not only gives you pure life energy but it also tastes perty darn good. And one yeah, beets and beet greens are great for healing the kidneys and improving kidney filtration.
