To be fair, Kazuhiro Haraguchi was a Minister between 2009-2010, now he is just a member of the Diet (Japanese equivalent of Parliament or Congress), but interesting nonetheless.

Here in the United States being a member of congress is being an elected member of government. So I'm not sure what your point is. Maybe he is a lesser government official now but still in the government. I'm glad he spoke up. I really don't know much about how Japanese government runs though.

Hmm, in my country, the Government represents only the executive power (along with the President), being quite a separate entity from Parliament (legislative power). It seems in the US, as well as Japan, Government represents legislative, executive and even judiciary power. However, Kazuhiro Haraguchi's party is not currently in power, but in opposition, so his opinions are far from being the official position of Japan.

Hello again Roger! I was not aware your latest post could receive comments only from paid subscribers and spent some time writing a comment, so I thought I would post it here. Also, I am really curious to see the final results of your latest poll and who you consider to be the positive person of the other 3 main Seinfeld actors.

Comment to your "What to do When Fear is Paralyzing You" post:

"Great advice for defeating fear, Roger! Though I wish the people willing to accept the kind of service I can provide wouldn't be so rare.

Lately, I've not been feeling much fear, but rather it's closely related cousin, anger. Even today, I've read an article that made me angry for several minutes. It was about the unjust treatment Hungary receives in the EU for it's pro-peace stance, being labeled by pro-war countries such as US, France, UK, Germany and others which are being supported even by my own country (at least the current Government), as "pro-Russian". Recently, there was a meeting in Hungary with slogans such as "Europe is opening the road to hell" and "Are we willing to spill Hungarian blood for Ukraine? No! We won't go to war, we won't die for someone else on foreign land" being labeled by the press as "anti-EU" and "pro-Russian". Also, the EU powers plan to block the right to vote for Hungary within the EU, which I am not sure it can be legally done, just as I am not sure the confiscation of Russian citizen's properties could have been done legally. For democracy to exist, the rule of law is essential. No one is above the law, or so they say. If we only apply the law when it is convenient, then we don't have rule of law or democracy, but a dictatorship. They say Putin is a dictator, but at least there were other candidates in his last elections. Ursula von der Leyen had absolutely no opposition when she was chosen as the European People's Party's candidate for the Presidency of the European Commission in 2024, also, the President of the European Commission (holding executive power) is not elected by the people. Also, she is known to have plagiarized her doctoral thesis.

It sickens me that those in power are so wicked that they invert values such as peace, calling good evil and evil good, with the press having nothing against it. How can someone advocating for peace be considered evil and warmongers be considered heroes? They lie to our faces with a smile...

On the bright side, when or if the war comes, I might hope to be able to relocate to Hungary, if they are able to maintain their peaceful stance."

I didn't mean to have that post only allow paid subscribers to comment. I have since changed the setting (which is automatic) and now you can comment. Now back to reading your comment.

Yes, most of the countries of the world are these days run by evil people. But what is good is that people all over the globe are very obviously seeing that. Whereas in years past the evil ones were still doing evil but hardly anyone was aware of what was going on.

This is all about a One World Government. A government run by the bankster Satanists. These bad guys need to be routed out. But it is a very complicated process in doing so. There are however good guys who are aware of this problem and are fighting it.

Maybe later this year a big event will happen to swing things more in the favor of the more positive forces on the planet. Though these so called good guys are very far from what I would like as good guys.

And of course, we must all do our part to try and hasten this to happen.
