Hi Roger, you can ignore my comment as one of the top 5 in favor of other people.
Just wanted to express my frustration of how many times I had to tell my family that not sugar is to blame for diabetes, but fat, that oils are pure fat and useless for health, that meat is useless for health also, and they still don't believe me! Luckily they rely mostly on boiled vegetables along with rice and some meat, fat not so much. Though they would occasionally indulge in cheese and salami, things I usually dare not put in my body.
I’m 77 6’2” 168 lbs . Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2005. For the last 5 1/2 years I’ve eaten low fat whole food plant based. No sugar, oil, salt added.
My A1c 5.6 to 5.7 done every 3 months. Cholesterol is 120 LDL 54 I don’t eat before 10am or after 7pm. I wake 1.5 miles a day. Hope this inspires you to give it a try. It works. It’s a habit to adaopt. No problem Be happy and healthy
Maybe the opposite of a comment you are looking for - but I have a family member who eats a lot of meat and uses a lot of oil in cooking - and we're seeing her blood sugar/glucose levels recently spiking very high with no other explanation from her doctor. I personally have cut the fat out of a mostly raw vegan diet recently, and things are changing for the better energy wise - though I've never been close to being diabetic. I think your theories on blood sugar, fat, and meat consumption have a lot of merit...
It appears that in the short run a diabetic can gain benefits from a keto or carnivore or Atkins style diet. But in the long run there are many dangerous health consequences of doing so.
And for many people it will actually make their diabetes worse because eating meat creates insulin resistance.
I’m very curious. I’ve been following you for many years now. I recently have been taking the oreganol you recommended & I love it. You have the best health advice around & I thank you for that.
You as a Light Energy Nutrition (LEN) member will be getting the information on this herb and even more. Plus I have a very good use for it which I will be revealing to LEN members soon.
It is interesting to hear this sort of information again. In the past it didn't seem to make sense enough for me to be interested. However, it is making more sense to me now, when you think of fat BLOCKING UP insulin receptors. One only has to try to clean a BBQ top to get a sense of how washing up fat goes. Gungy goopy sticky slimy mess! Also, isn't the fat stores where nature hides away the toxins it doesn't know what else to do with!?
Hey Roger, your criteria of first 5 is so not fair for people on the other side of the earth who read their email virtually a day later. ;) (Boo hoo emoji). But hey, thank you for the interesting content!
Fantastic points you made about the fat on the barbecue grill and how hard it is to clean it up. And people put that stuff inside of them. You made such a good comment that I will send you the herb information as my gift to you.
Humanity is insanely ignorant of how to live a healthful life. And that is due to our leaders intentionally misleading the public. They don't want strong, healthy and wise humans. They actually want us sick and dying young. Too weak to pose a threat to their tyranical leadership.
Hence why keto, carnivore and high fat diets constantly get promoted by the social media platforms over vegetarian and raw vegan diets.
My initial post went out at 2:08pm in Melbourne Australia. I know you are somewhere in Australia. Maybe not that particular time zone. That means it was sent somewhere around the middle of the day for your time zone but late at night 11pm for people on the East Coast of the United States.
Yes, I'm in that time zone. I usually check my email in the morning. Sometimes skip a day, particularly Saturday. So for email, I'm a day behind, but as far as the date goes, I'm a day ahead! lol. Funny how we live on a globe, or a pancake. (Or something else) ;)
Thanks for the post! I am very excited to get to using this special herb for the benefits you described. I hope it does work for myself like it has for others. Many blessings to you and all your readers and followers!

Thanks for sharing your story David.

Hi Roger. Thanks for the information. It's very frustrating and unfortunate that misinformation is so widespread and affects people's lives.
I’m very curious. I’ve been following you for many years now. I recently have been taking the oreganol you recommended & I love it. You have the best health advice around & I thank you for that.
Thanks for the comment and the compliment Nick.

Yes I know it's not fair. Sorry about that.

Ah thank you so much! :) (I'm sure I could do with that herb!) And for the acknowledgement.
Yes, your observance of what's going on seems only too true. Oh for a brighter future!
